Jørgen Madsennight owl, was voted Night Owl of the Year 2025 by the Association of Night Owls in Nuuk’s general assembly. He was awarded the title because he was the one who took the most walks, as a reassuring element in the evening/night life at weekends for children and young people. He walked 21 last year.
A new board of directors was also elected at the general meeting. Niels Nielsen, who helped found the association in 2000, has been re-elected as chairman. The rest of the board consists of Jørgen Madsen, Stella Mathiasen, Mogens Lindstrøm and Dorthea Johnsen. That’s what Natteravnene in Nuuk writes on its Facebook page.
