The National Civil Police captures an alleged couple of car thieves after a chase with shots for the theft of a pick-up truck in Sipacate, Escuintla.

The National Civil Police (PNC) reports that the chase begins on the old route to the Port of San José and ends at the Las Morenas farm, El Paredón village, Sipacate, where they capture Melisa “N”, 29 years old, and Rodolfo “N”, 33, when they try to flee.
According to the PNC, the recovered pickup has a theft report from April 16 in Santa Cruz del Quiché, where the owner died, and they also captured Cristian “N”, 25 years old, allegedly involved in the sale of the vehicle.
In addition, it was established that Rodolfo “N” has a history of illegally carrying a firearm in 2014.
