The well-known Albanian actor, Mehdi Malkaj, addressed the protesters gathered in front of the Prime Minister’s Office with a critical message towards the political class and the connection between citizens and parties.
During his speech, Malkaj called on citizens not to blindly identify with political forces, but to act as free and independent individuals.
“We Albanians have a bad habit, we fall in love with the parties. Get rid of the parties! It’s a great shame! A great philosopher, when asked about the parties, said that they are organized groups of thieves who steal from their people!”, said the actor.
