Bishkek (AKIpress) – In Bishkek, on the territory of the new Ala-Too market, on July 28, a meeting of local authorities and representatives of the Ala-Too administration with traders of the Madina market was held.
It was previously reported that private entrepreneurs would move to the new market and Madina would be demolished. However, about 200 of those gathered refuse to move, since, in their opinion, there are no conditions in the new market. They also have questions for the management of the new market, but they do not seek a meeting with them, but send representatives.
Vice-Mayor of Bishkek present at the meeting Atay Muratbek reported that entrepreneurs proposed creating a conciliation commission to check the new market and it is currently carrying out its work.
“After the commission completes its work and sums up the results, we will provide additional information,” he assured.
Then he left the market, and the crowd saw him off shouting: “Ketpeybiz” (“We won’t leave”).
