When a month has passed since the dissolution of the Transparency Board, fuel prices in the domestic market have undergone a significant increase.
Currently, oil is traded up to 198 ALL per liter, while gasoline has reached 189 ALL per liter, reflecting the impact of recent movements in international energy markets.
The price hike comes at a time when the market operates without the Transparency Board’s price-setting mechanism, which gives companies the ability to set prices based on supply costs and market conditions.
For consumers, this situation means a higher cost for fueling vehicles, as well as the possibility of chain effects in the transport sector, in services and in the prices of consumer goods.
