“Poland will not respond to the demographic crisis by yielding to migration pressure,” declared President Karol Nawrocki during the Poland Future Summit conference. As he emphasized, the remedy for demographic challenges should be support for Polish families and solutions that strengthen the country’s social and economic development.
President Karol Nawrocki spoke today at the Poland Future Summit conference. During his address, he highlighted the development of Poland as well as the issue of migration.
President Nawrocki stressed that in order to develop, to carry out investments, and to attract capital, Poland and Europe must be secure.
“To be secure in the 21st century, when we observe contemporary battlefields, one simply has to develop”, he pointed out.
And as he added: “Multi-domain capabilities, technologies in the military and armed forces that guarantee security, clearly show that development is security, and security is development”.
The Polish head of state emphasized that “here in Poland and across Europe, it will not be possible to build a strong, secure state – a state that develops – without overcoming the demographic crisis that currently affects all of Europe, including Poland”.
“We will not yield to migration pressure”
However, remaining on the topic of the demographic crisis, he clearly outlined the position of the Presidential Palace, referring to migration pressure.
“This is not and will not be the Polish path. We will not replace the demographic crisis with yielding to migration pressure. And I would like this to be clearly stated here today at this summit, ladies and gentlemen. For Poland, not yielding to migration pressure, and a clear focus on the Polish family and on legal systems that will combat this crisis within our community, will constitute the solution”, announced Karol Nawrocki.
