Yesterday, Tuesday, the Palestinian Presidency warned of the danger of the step announced by an official of the Zionist occupation government, which calls for canceling the Hebron Agreements related to the Ibrahimi Mosque area and withdrawing the powers associated with it from the Hebron Municipality, considering that this step affects the political and legal status of the city.
The Palestinian Presidency confirmed, in a statement, reported by the Palestinian News Agency (Wafa), that “these unilateral measures are rejected and condemned, and constitute a violation of the agreements signed with the (Zionist) entity, and international legitimacy and international law, which prohibit harming the status quo of the occupied Palestinian territories.”
The Palestinian presidency called on the international community to intervene immediately and oblige the occupation authorities to withdraw from this “dangerous step,” stressing that it “undermines the political process and the two-state solution, and hampers the efforts of international powers aimed at achieving security and stability in the region, and creating the appropriate climate for the establishment of a Palestinian state on the 1967 borders.”
It should be noted that the Ibrahimi Mosque and the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque are being subjected to “Judaizing” plans that the international community rejects and calls for their immediate halt.
