Today, Thursday, the Zionist occupation escalated its aggression against the Gaza Strip, in continued violation of the ceasefire agreement, resulting in a number of martyrs and the injury of others, as a result of air strikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire in various areas of the Strip.
Local sources reported that four Palestinians and a number of wounded were killed when the Zionist occupation aircraft bombed a house west of the city of Deir al-Balah, in the central Gaza Strip, before later announcing the martyrdom of the leader of the Al-Qassam Brigades, “Abu Fouad al-Houli,” as a result of the same bombing.
In the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip, a Palestinian, his wife and their daughter died as a result of the occupation aircraft bombing a house, while a number of citizens were injured, amid severe damage to the targeted house and its surroundings.
Local sources also later announced the martyrdom of the leader of the Al-Quds Brigades, Ashraf Al-Khatib, and his wife, as a result of the same bombing on the camp.
In Gaza City, a number of Palestinians were martyred when the occupation aircraft bombed a Palestinian police checkpoint near the Nabulsi Junction, west of the city, in conjunction with a bombing that targeted the vicinity of the Abu Mazen roundabout, southwest of the city, which led to injuries among citizens.
Local sources indicated that the Zionist occupation aircraft targeted members of the Palestinian police while they were trying to arrest members of militias supported by the occupation in Gaza City.
In the northern Gaza Strip, six Palestinians were injured, one of them seriously, by bullets from the Zionist occupation vehicles in the “Halawa” camp for displaced persons, east of the Jabalia camp, while the occupation artillery renewed its bombardment of areas east of the city of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip, more than once during the evening hours.
An Israeli occupation forces helicopter also fired a missile towards the Nuseirat camp, and military aircraft launched a raid on western Gaza City.
It was announced that the occupation aircraft bombed a vehicle on the outskirts of the town of Mifdoun, south of Lebanon.
According to the latest toll, at least 10 martyrs have died since this morning, in light of the continuing escalation and simultaneous attacks, amid warnings of deteriorating humanitarian and security conditions in the Gaza Strip.
