The Office for Citizen Protection (OPC) expresses its dismay at the tragedy that occurred in Milot, in the north of Haiti, where several dozen citizens lost their lives in still unclear circumstances. In a press release, the OPC presents its sympathies to the families of the victims and recalls that the Citadelle Laferrière, a tourist site administered by the Ministry of Culture, should be a safe space.
