The MP of LVV says that the Association is not made even if it is a request for membership in KiE

The MP of Vetëvendose Movement, Mefail Bajqinovci, has said that the Association of Municipalities with a Serbian Majority will not be established, even if this is a request for membership in the Council of Europe.
He recalled that for the issue of the north of the country, Kosovo was under sanctions.
Despite the fact that the Association was a request for admission to KiE, Bajqinovci has said that he does not believe that it will be.
“For five years we have been, and that we have implemented, if it is implemented we will be in this studio and we will talk together. No, I do not believe that it can be done, it cannot be done. We have been sanctioned because of the north, and we cannot release it. I believe that it cannot be a request of the Council of Europe, the Association”, he said on the show “Debate Corner” in Tevë1.
When asked about the statements of the officials of the LVV that they also declared that they would not implement the land issue of Bitola, he said that this was the decision of the Constitutional Court.
Association has been one of the hottest topics in the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
This agreement has not been implemented by Kosovo, despite the demands and pressures of the EU and the USA, but also the insistence of Serbia.
Kosovo is not part of the Council of Europe, although its application has passed to the General Assembly, but not to the Council of Ministers of the member countries. In this council, the issue of Kosovo’s admission was not on the agenda.
The Council of Europe is an international organization for human rights, democracy and the rule of law in Europe, headquartered in Strasbourg, France.
