The ministry has stated in a press release that air strikes were carried out by the Pakistani army on Kandahar, Paktia and Khost provinces last night, as a result of which a number of civilians were killed.
The statement added that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan strongly condemns these attacks and calls them a clear violation of Afghanistan’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity and in conflict with Islamic, international, humanitarian and neighborly principles.
The sources added that the Islamic Emirate strongly rejects the baseless claims that the territory of Afghanistan is used as a source to justify Pakistan’s recent security incidents and shows that justifying military actions based on such claims is an attempt to distort the facts, confuse public opinion and hide its internal failures. He seems to be engaged in such measures, which cause the situation to become more difficult and increase the tension.
