“In such cases, the Seimas does not decide on guilt, but on the possibility for law enforcement to perform its work. The decision will be made in compliance with all legal procedures and respecting the presumption of innocence. We trust the law enforcement institutions,” J. Olekas assures in a comment transmitted to BNS.
The head of the parliament says that he hopes that the process will go smoothly and that the decision will be made using a simplified decision-making procedure.
