The companies that implement equality policies they will receive a positive criterion of Government in public procurement procedures and grants, in addition to obtaining a badge that will recognize his effort in the field. A commission formed by a representative of the Department of Labor, another from Equality, a representative of the Andorran Women’s Institute and an expert in this field will evaluate a number of parameters of the companies such as work reconciliation and co-responsibilitysalary equity, requirements for recruitment and promotion or the protocol for harassment on the basis of sex, which it is mandatory in companies with more than 50 workers.
Currently, this protocol has been presented by 80% of the companies. Mariona Cadena, Secretary of State for Equality and Citizen Participationhas explained that “we continue to do pedagogy and support because there are companies that are a little lost that don’t know how to make this plan.” The executive’s intention is to continue providing aid until the beginning of next year, at which time it would consider moving to a second phase with the possible imposition of sanctions.
