The phenomenon of “election bribery” is inadmissible for the “Wings of Unity” party. We record this specifically so that no one tries to distort this statement of ours. If anyone tries to buy votes or pay election bribes, we will ourselves demand to initiate legal procedures against them.
At the same time, the facts of depriving the arrested members and supporters of the “Strong Armenia” party of legal aid, not allowing the access of a lawyer to his client, is an illegal manifestation of the authorities acting outside the law and allegedly showing force. According to the mentioned party, since early morning, some of the arrested have been allowed access to the lawyer with obstacles at different times of the day, and the other part has not had the opportunity to meet with the lawyer until now.
It is obvious that the government is a master of organizing shows in order to increase its “authority” and acting at the expense of human rights is the government’s way of working.
Politics is the domain of the law, and we consider the use of illegal methods of intimidation and pressure unacceptable.
Justice comes from eliminating the practice of using law enforcement agencies for political purposes, reaping dividends at the expense of violating human rights.
