According to the verdict, on January 9, 2026, when FN, born in 1993, entered his room to rest, he was angry that his 6-month-old son was disturbing him by crying and fussing. Then, in front of his relatives, he stuffed a sock into the child’s mouth, grabbed him by both hands and shook him several times, causing the child’s head to hit the wood of the sofa and his health deteriorating, causing clinical death.
In the conclusion of the forensic medical examination, it was said that the baby’s death was caused by bleeding of red and black blood under the hard and soft membranes of the brain and cerebellum, swelling of the brain and lungs, and acute respiratory failure.
He was found guilty of committing the crime provided for in clauses “v” (a person in a vulnerable state evident to the culprit) and “j” (with extreme cruelty) of Article 97, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment.
