According to Jam Jam Online, Brigadier General Amir Akraminia, the spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army, explained the performance of the army’s ground forces in the imposed war. Emphasizing the operational successes of these forces, he pointed to the bombing of American bases by army fighters.
Brigadier Akraminya announced: Air forces of the army attacked the enemy bases in the countries of the region, including the anti-revolutionary base in Erbil, Iraq, Kuwait and Qatar. Recently, a report was published by one of the American media, which refers to the successful operation of F-5 fighters of the Air Force. These fighters successfully passed through the different layers of defense designed by the Americans and targeted the American base.
He described this operation as rare and even unique and added: After this operation, the Air Force continued to shoot drones at enemy bases and occupied territories until the last day of the war.
The army spokesman pointed out that the ground forces played a role and worked effectively by firing Fajr and Fatah missiles at the enemy bases in the countries of the region.
He continued: The precautions and measures taken by the army’s ground forces in protecting the borders were very significant. Until the last days of the war, even though the enemy repeatedly raised slogans and threats about a land attack, he never dared to attack or invade through the land borders. One of the important factors of this deterrence was the high readiness of the army’s ground forces alongside the IRGC forces, which played a decisive role in maintaining the security of the borders.
Referring to intelligence estimates, the spokesman of the army announced that the army had made the necessary preparations before the start of the war, and the analysis showed that the enemy was probably planning a military attack on the country.
He added: All the forces and units of the army were in a good state of readiness.
Amir Akraminya pointed to the deployment of ground force units in different regions of the country and said: “During the enemy’s infiltration in the south of Isfahan, the ground force immediately took action and shot down the hostile American plane with its quick reaction.” This decisive reaction caused the defeat of the enemy’s operation.
He also emphasized that the enemy did not dare to attack Iran by land until the last day of the war. The precautions and measures taken by the ground forces in protecting the borders were very significant, and the high readiness of these forces along with the IRGC forces played a decisive role in maintaining the security of the borders.
Amir Akraminia also pointed to the role of the Air Force and said: At the beginning of the war, the Air Force carried out several sorties and attacked enemy bases in the region. He pointed to the targeting of counter-revolutionary centers in Erbil, Iraq, and other bases in Kuwait and Qatar.
The army spokesman pointed to a report from the American media, in which the success of the Air Force’s F-5 fighters in passing through the enemy’s defense layers and targeting the bases has been emphasized. This operation has been evaluated as a successful and unique action.
