Of this group, 67% declare that they charge them correctly, while 12% claim that they receive them partially or that they do not collect them.
Housing is one of the main axes of the study, as it determines both the experience of the season and the savings capacity of the workers. approximately half of the temporary workers stay in spaces provided by the company: 43% live in hotels, hostels or hostels provided by work, while 8% do so in flats offered by the employer.
27% of respondents say they have some problem related to accommodation. The most common difficulties are overcrowding, lack of privacy and the conditions of the buildings, especially in terms of cold and isolation. The average is around two people per room, although up to six people have been detected. It should be noted that the study averaged people per room, but did not count the number of rooms per dwelling.
The study is based on data from 5,031 temporary workers with work permits registered this year. Most come from Latin America, especially from Argentina, Chile and Colombiaand are mainly distributed between hospitality and snow-related activities.
As for future prospects, 58% of respondents express the desire to return after having come for a season and alternating it with stays outside the country.
