According to weather forecasters, Turkmenistan is expected to experience partly cloudy skies, rain, and hot weather from May 4 to 10. Temperatures in some areas will reach 37–39°C. According to the website of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Turkmenistan, precipitation in the country this week will range from 0,1 to 6,0 mm.
Ashgabat: Partly cloudy skies with rain expected midweek. Winds will shift from east to northwest at 10-13 to 13-15 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will range from 14-16°C to 19-21°C, and daytime temperatures from 24-26°C to 35-37°C.
In the Balkan velayat: partly cloudy skies with rain in the first half and at the end of the week. The southeasterly wind will shift to the northwesterly, blowing at speeds of 9-14 to 12-17 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will range from 11 to 16°C to 16 to 21°C, daytime highs of 32 to 37°C, and coastal areas will reach 21 to 26°C.
In the Ahal velayat: partly cloudy skies with rain midweek. Winds will shift from east to northwest, blowing at 8-13 to 11-16 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will range from 12-17°C to 17-22°C, and daytime highs from 23-28°C to 34-39°C.
In the Mary velayat: partly cloudy skies with occasional rain in the second half of the week. The southeasterly wind will shift to northwesterly, blowing at 7-12 to 10-15 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will range from 11 to 16°C to 17 to 22°C, and daytime temperatures from 24 to 29°C to 34 to 39°C.
In the Lebap velayat: partly cloudy skies with occasional rain in the second half of the week. Southeasterly winds will shift to northwesterly, blowing at speeds of 8-13 to 12-17 meters per second. Overnight temperatures will range from 11-16°C to 18-23°C, and daytime temperatures from 25-30°C to 34-39°C.
In the Dashoguz velayat: partly cloudy skies with light rain midweek. Winds will shift from east to northwest at 8-13 to 11-16 meters per second. Nighttime temperatures will range from +10 to +15°C to +16 to +21°C, and daytime temperatures from +22 to +27°C to +31 to +36°C.
