Private sources confirmed to Okaz that Portuguese Bruno Lage has agreed to coach the Diriyah team in the upcoming season 2026-2027.
Al-Diriyah had achieved a historic achievement by qualifying for the Roshan Saudi Professional League for the first time, following its victory over Al-Ula by two goals to one in the final of the playoffs.

The sources said that Bruno Lage agreed to train in Diriyah, where he will lead a large and exciting project, while some final touches are currently being agreed upon before the official signing, as 90% of the negotiations have been completed.
