In September 2020, Škoda presented the Enyaq, its first fully electric crossover, and 16 months later the Enyaq Coupe version. Both models were simultaneously updated in January 2025, in celebration of the 130th anniversary of the Czech brand. A little earlier, in October 2024, their “younger brother” Elroq appeared, available only in one body, the model that first adopted Modern Solid, the company’s new design language.
Now all three electric crossovers – Elroq, Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe – have received a number of updates. Production should begin in mid-2026. One of the main changes is an updated Android-based infotainment system. Infotainment includes not only a redesigned interface, but also a redesigned central touchscreen and expanded personalization options.
The press service of the company announced that a digital key will be installed in Škoda models for the first time. This will allow the doors to be locked and unlocked, as well as the vehicle to be started, using the MySkoda app installed on the owner’s smartphone. Access to these functions can be shared with other users. In addition, the app now displays driving data, including energy consumption (in addition to charge history).
Updated models of the Czech brand now have the Powerpass service integrated directly into the navigation system, which now displays charging station ratings, prices and enables charging authorization directly from the navigation screen. The list of new features also includes the V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) system, which enables the electric crossover to be connected to external devices via a charging adapter or a 230V socket located in the trunk.
The models feature an upgraded single pedal control system with two levels of regenerative braking.
The refreshed Škoda Elroq, Enyaq and Enyaq Coupé models received new details from the company’s Simply Clever range. For example, a 21-liter storage compartment is located under the hood. In the cabin there is a charger for smartphones (up to 25 W) and several USB-C ports (up to 45 W). Electric vehicles have also received updated radars, sensors and reversing cameras…
