Crvena zvezda beat Partizan 3:0 in front of 20,000 fans and won the title of Serbian champion.
In the northern stand, where Zvezda’s most ardent fans are located, Hajduk’s scarf and banners with the Croatian coat of arms and the inscriptions “Ogulin” and “Rijeka” were burned. The incident was accompanied by a song addressed to Partizan fans
The Maracana was played by Croatian singer Minea’s cover of the song “Rano”: “When will you admit publicly what has been bothering you for a long time, that from your JNA you sing the colors of your Franje Tuđman”, and the song “Your black and white flag is a symbol of the people of Split.”
