The Administrative Service for Identification, Migration and Immigration (Saime) announced the reactivation of the face-to-face operations in your San Bernardino office, located in the Libertador municipality of Caracas.
Through a statement released on Instagram, the institution detailed that the box office will work between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, allowing citizens manage all your documentary requirements.
The San Bernardino facilities suspended their activities since last June 25, as a result of the material damage caused due to recorded earthquakes the day before in national territory.
Given this reopening, the official entity reminded citizens of the mandatory to make an appointment through the digital portal www.saime.gob.ve before going to the venue.
Additionally, the organization notified the opening of two other offices within the capital. The ticket offices located at the National Sports Institute (IND) and at the facilities of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) will work reduced hours, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
For the delivery of pending documents, the institution ordered that passports and visas processed in San Bernardino be picked up at the Correspondence Office, located on Baralt Avenue in the Libertador municipality. This operation will take place from Monday, July 27 to Friday, July 31, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Temporarily disabled offices
On the other hand, the organization’s management clarified that several agencies continue without offering face-to-face service due to the effects derived from the emergency.
In the Capital District, the offices located in Catia and at the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) base in El Paraíso remain closed. The situation affects the state of La Guaira in a similar way, where the headquarters regionalized La Guaira, Vargas I, Caraballeda and Catia La Mar They continue without opening their doors to the public.
