The Minister of National Education, Mohamed Saghir Saadawi, highlighted Algeria’s aspiration to establish a modern school in its programmes, curricula, structures and environment that responds to the aspirations of the rising generations.

The minister pointed out that “the Algerian school was and will remain the most important institution for building human beings, refining his personality, preserving the components of society and consolidating its values.”
He recalled the path of Algeria’s history, in which “education was linked to the idea of protecting identity and creating the future and preparing a generation that carries knowledge, awareness, and responsibility and is proud of its belonging to its homeland,” and Saadawi stressed that “Algeria, which looks to the future, is working to establish a modern school in its programs, curricula, structures, and environment.”
The Minister also touched on digital transformation and the uses of artificial intelligence, where he highlighted “the importance of the role of the educator in guiding and teaching students to benefit positively from these digital opportunities” and affirmed the sector’s determination to “continue working to provide the school with quality education and invest in talents and abilities, in addition to opening the doors of innovation and scientific competition.”
He stressed that the Algerian school is working to “provide spaces for cultural, sports, health and environmental practice, in a way that responds to the students’ future need to integrate into the world’s cultures and languages without the school losing its national and value compass.”
