MINSK, 16 April (BelTA) – In January-March 2026 retail trade in Belarus totaled Br25.6 billion, up 6% from the same period of last year in comparable prices, BelTA learned from the National Statistical Committee of Belarus.
One-day retail sale volume per capita came at Br31.4 as against Br28 year-on-year.
Retail outlets accounted for 96.1% of retail sales. In January-March 2026 they reported Br24.6 billion in retail sales, up 6.4% as against the same period of 2025.
In January-March 2026 wholesale trade amounted to Br41.8 billion, or 96.2% year-on-year in comparable prices.
Trade by public catering outlets totaled Br1.8 billion or 98.9% as against the same stretch a year ago.
