Journalist Klevin Muka read a heartfelt and strong message from the writer and publicist Kim Mehmeti in front of the thousands of protesters gathered in front of the prime minister’s office.
From North Macedonia, Kim Mehmeti expressed his support for the youth and citizens who came out, saying that they are doing what, according to him, the previous generation failed to do.
Mehmeti said that the protesters are protecting Albania from what he called the “alliance of filth” and are trying to return the country to the citizens.
“I bow to your voice, which is the best and only medicine for preserving the pride and hope of the whole of Albania. You are doing what we, the patriots of TV debates, could not do, protect Albania from the alliance of stinkers and return it to its owners, the Albanians. But if necessary, I will follow your voice even by crawling.” his message said.
Following this, the publicist called on the citizens not to withdraw from the protest. “Don’t give up. Your voice is the missing Albanian cry. Your voice restores dignity to Albania”it was further said in the message, while closing it with the word: “You are my heroes and I will forever remain your humble servant.”
Kim Mehmeti message from North Macedonia:
Don’t let makeup artists tell you who you are. Many young people have called me to join you in their protest in Tirana, but age and health problems prevent me from doing so. I bow to your voice, which is the best and only medicine for preserving national pride and hope.
You are doing what we, the patriots of television debates, could not do, protect Albania from the alliance of stinkers and return it to its owners, the Albanians. But if need be, I will follow your voice even by crawling.
However, do not give up, because if you were against the development of Albania, then maybe the motherland will be developed by those who for three decades in a row plundered and criminalized it? Or the media sponsored by crime, where debaters of all colors drool over the rulers and oligarchs.
If you are the voice of foreign interests, then isn’t the voice of Albanians the one of those who shout in the television studio just so that the cries of the people are not heard? That of our citizens, who do not dare to mention Chameria and the Presheva Valley to their Greek or Serbian colleagues?
Your voice is the missing Albanian cry. Your voice restores dignity to Albanianness, because it embodies the call of Albanians wherever they are. And don’t forget, Albania belongs more to you than to us who failed to protect it from thieves and extortionists. As you should not forget that Albania has never had so many masquerades who want to confuse this people’s heroes with traitors.
Therefore, you have the right to judge us for wasting their future, and we have no right to judge you for returning Albania’s pride and dignity.
You are my heroes and I will forever remain your humble servant.
Kim Mehmeti.
