This time around 500 employees of the organization in Romania have been asked to resign from their jobs. It is reported that this retrenchment process has started from last June 25. Confusion among workers about layoffs?
According to a report by LiveMint, the Human Resources (HR) team informed about the layoffs through a personal email to the employees.
However, there has been widespread confusion among workers regarding this process. Some employees claim that the email statement referred to the layoffs as “recommended” or proposed, creating confusion over whether the decision was final. In addition, many people do not understand whether they have a job at all due to sending emails.
