Opportunity for students to gain work experience and receive tuition reimbursement. The program “One step from education to work” implemented by “APAGA” charitable foundation is already accepting applications. “Armenpress”At the press conference held in the press hall of the “APAGA” charitable foundation Roza Solomonyan stated that they aim to support the professional development of students and effective entry into the labor market.
“3rd-year students of all RA universities, accredited universities, as well as 4th-year distance learning students can apply for the program. Within the framework of the program, they will have the opportunity to receive up to 80% compensation of 1-year tuition fees, participate in educational courses, undergo internships in partner organizations and acquire practical skills. We want to bring students to the professional field,” said Roza Solomonyan.

“APAGA” charitable foundation collects the number of vacancies from partner structures and organizations in advance, specifies what specialists they need, and according to that, they attract the appropriate students. The program is already in its 4th year. During these years, 100 students have been supported, 80 percent of whom have jobs. Beneficiary students of the program acquire practical skills both in state institutions and in private companies. The RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs is one of the state institutions that joined the project. Deputy Minister Araik Yesayan noted that in recent years, cooperation with the foundation has made it possible to attract talented young people to the state system.

“To be honest, in the beginning, many people did not consider the state system as an employer. An impression was created that everything in the state system is old, boring work, but I am happy to note that the trend has changed. The students realized that the state system is also changing, new development programs are being implemented, digital tools are being put forward. By getting involved in the work of the state system, they bring new breath and handwriting,” said Araik Yesayan.
“EventTura” event tourism development agency has been closely cooperating with “APAGA” charitable foundation for 2 years. This year, it is ready to accept more than 10 more students and actively involve them in the work. Mary Badalyan, co-founder and director of the agency, mentioned that the foundation works with students in advance, prepares them in a certain way, and addresses new employers.

“During the 10 years of our activity, we have always worked with students. It is our social responsibility to give them a place, to provide professional practical knowledge. We take students with no work experience and involve them in our programs. Within the framework of this program, we can involve students in an already filtered version, according to our requirements,” said Mary Badalyan.
To be included in the program, students can submit applications until June 6.
