On World Blood Donor Day, on June 14, a public campaign with the slogan “One Drop of Humanity” will be held at the “Yolyan” Hematology and Oncology Center of the Ministry of Health.
“Armenpress”this is reported by the RA Ministry of Health, noting that the purpose of the campaign is to promote the formation of a culture of voluntary and gratuitous blood donation in Armenia, to raise public awareness of the importance of donation and to expand the ranks of blood donors, contributing to the formation of stable and safe blood reserves in the health system.
The action will be organized simultaneously in Yerevan and in the regions, giving the opportunity to the residents of different communities of Armenia to join this humanitarian initiative.
The department notes that the event will be held on June 14, from 10:00 to 18:00, in the garden section of the “Yolyan” hematology and oncology center, and at the regional stations at the following addresses: Gyumri Department of the Blood Service: Shirakatsi 21a, Vanadzor Department of the Blood Service: G. Nzhdehi 2/42, Armavir Department of Blood Service: M. Heratsi 10, Hrazdan Department of the Blood Service: R. 29 Mikayelyan, Blood Service Goris department, Avangard district, 33 Arzumanyan.
