The said Ministry told Bakhtar News Agency that the starting and ending times of the employees of the central and provincial agencies have been adjusted from the first day of the month of Tala 1405 Hijri, which coincides with the 8th of the month of Rabi al-Thani 1448 Hijri, as follows:
From Saturday to Wednesday, work starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 3:30 PM with a one-hour break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM for afternoon prayers and dinner.
On Thursdays, work starts at 8:30 in the morning and ends at 1:30 in the afternoon.
The source added that the start and end time of the holy month of Ramadan will be arranged and announced in the future.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has also said that production, service organizations, permanent active parts, broadcasting, health, education and higher education institutions should adjust their working hours to 35 hours a week in the last 6 months of work, taking into account the characteristics of work, climatic conditions, relevant laws and regulations.
