– The opposition forces have announced that they do not accept the results of the elections and are going to dispute them. Robert Kocharyan’s alliance applied to the CC regarding the elections in 2021, but the application was rejected. In your opinion, what should the opposition do now? You were once the representative of the opposition in the CC during the discussion of the post-election lawsuit. Are there sufficient grounds to appeal to the Supreme Court? If so, what are they?
– To answer this question clearly, you need to be in the “kitchen” of the opposition and understand exactly what violations were recorded. We own them to the extent that the press publishes them. If there are clear grounds, then, of course, you should go to the end. Election violations were recorded, which are not minor election violations. For example, numbers were written incorrectly, in one place they wrote 7 votes for 700 votes, in another place it was the other way around. It is natural that there is a problem in this case, however, if I am honest, my legal experience and the path I have taken suggest to me that applying to the Constitutional Court will not have any future. I think that the opposition will not achieve a result that way, because the West is already celebrating its victory, congratulates Nikol Pashinyan. But I do not rule out that maybe they will achieve some kind of success. If there are real grounds, why not, maybe something will work out.
