The Ministry of Youth, Sports, Culture and Creative Industries has added another vibrant display of public art to St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), officially launching two new public murals at the Arnos Vale Sports Complex on Friday, July 17, 2026. The murals, created under the themes “Good Ole Kingstown” and “Alyo Love Play Eh,” are intended to celebrate Vincentian culture, history, and identity while transforming a public space into a lasting visual tribute to the nation’s heritage.
The launch ceremony brought together government officials, artists, cultural practitioners, and members of the public to witness the unveiling of the artworks, which at which is now the third location in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to feature public murals as part of the country’s ongoing cultural development initiatives.
Speaking at the ceremony, ‘Call Out Nation’ representative and artist, Antonia Cruickshank, highlighted the significance of the murals, noting that they represent much more than artistic expressions.
“Today we are proud to present not just two murals but two lasting tributes to the people, traditions, and memories that make St. Vincent and the Grenadines are unique,” she stated.
