
Muhajir Farahi, Minister of Broadcasting of the said Ministry, told the participants that the Islamic Emirate has always been committed to strengthening the country’s infrastructure and economic self-sufficiency, and has made efforts for development in recent years, the results of which are promising.
Referring to the mission of the media in terms of public awareness and reflection of events, he asked the journalists to convey the current realities of the country accurately, responsibly and comprehensively to the people and the international community.
He added that the media is a bridge between the people and the government and should play a good role in conveying information, clarifying achievements and conveying the realities of the society.
In this seminar, the officials added that the policy of the Islamic Emirate is based on establishing the Islamic system, ensuring security, achieving economic self-sufficiency and eliminating prejudice and nationalism.
In this meeting, the head of information and culture of Faryab province, Maulvi Shamsuddin Mohammadi, said that journalists have the responsibility to present correct and useful information to the people with honesty, trustworthiness, accuracy and compliance with professional principles, therefore increasing the intellectual, religious and professional capacity of journalists is a basic and important need of the society.
