In this festival, which was attended by local officials, scholars, artists, national personalities, poets and youth, Minister of Culture and Art of the Ministry of Information and Culture, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Tayibi, said: “Establishing cultural festivals shows that the culture and traditions of the people of Afghanistan are alive and strong and can play an effective role in introducing regional products, folk traditions and local food, as well as strengthening the rural economy.”
Also, the head of information and culture of Kapisa Province, Maulvi Karimullah Wasiq, said that the purpose of this festival is to strengthen the local economy, provide marketing methods for local products and support farmers.
He asked the gardeners to try to develop the harmony and beauty of the area by refraining from cutting down the trees.
Residents of Najarab district also asked the officials to implement effective programs for the prevention of plant pests and diseases, support for farmers, and development of modern collection and harvesting of cattle.
