This festival was organized by the Department of Information and Culture of Kapisa Province, which was attended by Emirati officials, poets and cultural artists, and its purpose is to introduce and market local products.
The minister of culture and art in the said festival said: “It is a pleasure to participate in a cultural meeting with the poets and writers of Al-Sai district today. As this district was the center of Mujahid during the 20-year Jihad period, it has a high position and extensive activity in the cultural sector today.”
He added that serving the people is an eternal desire of the Islamic Emirate.
Other speakers also talked about the recognition of regional products, support of domestic production, strengthening of rural economy and marketing for black pine.
In addition to welcoming the establishment of the said festival, the residents of Al-Hasai district requested the officials of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan to organize the process of collecting black pine in a modern way, in order to prevent the damage of the pine trees on the one hand and to increase the quality and economic value of this product on the other hand.
Before this, cultural programs were conducted by the Department of Information and Culture of Kapisa Province on the Totu of Bolghin and Biryani corn of the second part of Kohistan.
