According to the media, a pro-Russian hacker group that calls itself “Server Killers” has launched a so-called DDoS attack.
A DDoS attack is a form of attack where you overload a website by sending large amounts of traffic from many devices at the same time.

The problems with the website occurred around 3:00 p.m. They are expressed by the page being down or unavailable when you try to access it.
Bjarne Østby, head of department in the Storting’s IT department, confirms the problems to the Norwegian news agency NTB.
– We are experiencing some instability on our website, and we are working with stabilizing measures, says the agency.

On Telegram, the group writes that the attack will last three hours.
“Server Killers” also writes on the messaging service that the group attacked several universities and colleges earlier in September.
The attacks come after the hacker group declared “cyber war” against Norway at the end of August.
The reason was supposed to be the country’s support for and defense cooperation with Ukraine.
The group has been active since 2023 and, according to VG, is particularly known for attacks against authorities and public services.
