Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq is still affected by the ongoing system breakdown, and intensive work is being done to re-establish the affected IT systems and ensure stable operation.
Last week went Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq’s IT systems down, and since then it has not been possible to use the municipality’s self-service solutions.
The municipality’s employees, IT department and external partners continue to work purposefully to restore the most important functions as quickly as possible and at the same time ensure that the work is carried out in a responsible and safe manner.
This is what Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq writes in a press release.
– Although the breakdown affects several of the municipality’s digital workflows, we do everything we can to maintain the necessary service to citizens, companies and business partners. There is a particular focus on the areas that have the greatest importance for the citizens’ everyday life, writes the municipality.
They ask for patience and understanding regarding delays and limitations in the municipality’s services and case processing while the work takes place.
The municipality promises to announce when there are significant updates on the situation, and thanks for the understanding and support they have received.
Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq has not commented on what is to blame for the IT breakdown.
