    Jazeera Airways resumes all flights as Kuwaiti airspace reopens


    KUWAIT: Jazeera Airways announced the resumption of all departing and arriving flights following the reopening of Kuwaiti airspace and the return of air traffic to normal, in accordance with instructions from the competent authorities, after it was temporarily closed from 4:50 a.m. Thursday as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety and security of civil aviation and passengers.

    The airline said in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that work is underway to reschedule flights affected during the suspension period.

    Jazeera Airways added that affected passengers will be contacted and notified of their new flight schedules, urging all travelers to check their flight status before heading to the airport.

    The airline noted that passengers seeking further information may visit the Jazeera Airways website or mobile app, or contact customer service via email at [email protected] or by calling 177.

    The General Authority of Civil Aviation announced Thursday that air traffic in Kuwaiti airspace has returned to normal following the removal of the circumstances that necessitated the earlier precautionary measures. — KUNA
