In recent days, many citizens in Byureghavan city of Kotayk marz have applied to the polyclinic with similar complaints: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever.

“We have notified the relevant structures in accordance with the law, and now inspections are being carried out. In particular, water and other possible sources are being sampled to find out the reason,” said the director.
According to him, at the moment there is no final data yet, and the research is ongoing.
“At the moment, representatives of the Veolia Water company are in the community, carrying out sampling and inspections. Nothing has been found yet,” he added.
According to the director, the health condition of the citizens who applied is currently assessed as satisfactory, and no new calls with such complaints have been registered.
“The condition of the patients is normal, the calls have stopped. We continue to wait for the results of the inspections and act according to the established procedure,” Vardumyan emphasized.
Also from the Ministry of Health “Armenpress”were informed that they had emergency calls with complaints of general weakness, vomiting, fever. “Epidemiological research and sampling was immediately carried out by the specialists of the HCCA. The process is underway, we will inform you about the results. We don’t have serious cases,” the ministry said.
On April 22, the Byureghavan municipality issued a message stating that many citizens in the city of Byureghavan have applied to the emergency service in recent days with the following complaints: nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, fever. It was mentioned that the relevant anti-epidemic services are aware of the situation. “In case of such complaints, please consult a doctor, refrain from using water as much as possible or use it in a boiled state,” it was said in the message distributed by the municipality.
