Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has sent a cable of condolences and sympathy to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, following the passing of his father, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, former emir of Qatar.
His Majesty expressed his sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the Emir and the friendly people of Qatar, praying to Allah the Almighty to grant the former emir mercy and forgiveness, to bless him with Paradise and to provide patience and solace to his family.
