Health Ministry Publishes Updated Schedule for Public Dental Clinics
— The Ministry of Health, Wellness, Environment and Civil Service Affairs has released an updated schedule for services at the Glanvilles and Villa dental clinics, providing residents with information on where and when they can access a range of public oral healthcare services.
The schedule outlines the availability of adult and children’s clinics, dental prophylaxis (cleaning), oral surgery consultations and oral surgery services throughout the week at both facilities.
According to the ministry, oral surgery procedures are available by appointment only following an initial consultation.
At the Glanvilles Dental Clinic, adult clinics are offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, while children’s clinics are held on Wednesdays and Thursday afternoons. Dental cleaning services for children and senior citizens are available on Tuesday afternoons, and oral surgery consultations are scheduled for Thursday afternoons.
The Villa Dental Clinic provides adult clinics on Mondays, senior citizens’ clinics on Tuesdays, oral surgery services on Wednesdays by appointment following consultation, oral surgery consultations and follow-up appointments on Thursday mornings, and children’s clinics on Monday and Thursday afternoons as well as Friday mornings.
The ministry is encouraging members of the public to review the schedule before visiting either facility to ensure they attend during the appropriate clinic hours.
Officials also reminded patients that both dental clinics are closed to the public every Friday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. to allow staff to carry out sterilisation procedures. No patient services are provided during that period.
The ministry said the updated schedule is intended to improve access to public dental services while helping patients plan their visits more efficiently.
