The Venezuelan Foundation for Seismological Research (Funvisis) reported three earthquakes with an epicenter in the state of Zulia this Thursday morning.
He first tremor occurred at 6:51 amwith a magnitude of 2.5 and depth of 13.3 kilometers. The epicenter was located 24 kilometers southwest of Bachaquero.
At 10:08 am the second earthquake was recordedmagnitude 3.5 and 15.3 kilometers deep. Funvisis located the epicenter 37 kilometers northeast of Villa del Rosario.
He third earthquake occurred at 11:55 am. Reached magnitude of 4.0 and had a depth of 14.5 kilometers.
The epicenter of this latest earthquake was located 46 kilometers southwest of Maicao, near the border with Colombia.
No damage reported related to the three earthquakes this Thursday.
