The National Authority for Government Innovation (AIG) and the Land Transit and Transportation Authority (ATTT) They reported that registration is now enabled to access the fuel subsidy program aimed at transporters.
According to the AIG, collective, selective, tourism, school and freight transport drivers may register through of the Panama Conecta platformwhere they must complete the application digitally.
The process includes a step-by-step guide available on the official transit website, with the aim of avoiding errors during the validation of the entered data.
This subsidy is part of the measures of the administration of President José Raúl Mulino to mitigate the impact of fuel costs on the transportation sector, considered key to mobility and the country’s economy.
According to the AIG, the program seeks to guarantee that economic support reaches directly those who operate daily in the transportation system, contributing to maintaining stability in service rates.
