Another form of protest appeared during the citizens’ march on the streets of Tirana after their stand for several hours in front of the prime minister’s office, where they demanded the resignation of Edi Rama.
As they have passed through the main axes of the capital, the protesters have chosen to “throw” politics in the garbage, pasting on the garbage bins photographs of Prime Minister Edi Rama, the head of the Democratic Party Sali Berisha, former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, as well as MP Taulant Balla.
Through this symbolic action, the protesters have expressed their rejection of the political class, connecting the message to the demands they have been articulating for weeks in their gatherings.
