Employees of the National Loss Reduction Program (PNRP) protested this Monday in San Pedro Sula to demand compliance with their dlabor rights and the payment of salaries pending, after being fired approximately two months ago.
The protesters denounced delays in the payment of labor benefits and asked the authorities for a prompt response to resolve their economic situation.
With banners and burning tires, they took the north boulevardat the height of the fesitranh colonygenerating traffic congestion in the area.
The Government of Nasry Juan Asfura, through decree PCM-004-2026, published on February 25, ordered the suppression of at least 12 State secretariats and programs, as well as the intervention of other entities with the aim of restructuring or eliminating them.
At the end of March, representatives of the Intervening Board appeared at the PNRP offices, located in the Government Civic Center. Days before, employees of the program also held nationwide protests to demand the payment of three months of salary owed and the guarantee of job stability.
