Spokesperson of Maidan Wardago Disaster Preparedness Department, Ruhollah Amidi told Bakhtar News Agency that the assessment of the damage caused by the floods is ongoing and the related department has made necessary preparations to support the affected families.
According to him, the head of the said department Maulvi Ahmad Shah Zahin has expressed his grief over the incident and assured the affected families of all possible cooperation.
He asked the people to avoid food and flood-affected areas during heavy rains and floods, in order to prevent similar incidents and possible damages.
