The Algerian Federation activates “Plan B” while awaiting the resolution of the national voter file:

Echorouk learned from informed sources that the Algerian Football Federation has begun developing an alternative plan of action in anticipation of any stumbling block in the ongoing negotiations with the Swiss national voter, Vladimir Petkovic. In light of the state of anticipation prevailing in the corridors of the FAF, attention is turning to the Spanish school as a strategic option to succeed the Swiss technician, as the Federal Authority has put in its notebook “international” training names to ensure the continuity of the sports project and technical restructuring.
The Algerian Federation is still awaiting the final response from Petkovic regarding the new proposals presented to it recently. These steps come based on the outputs and recommendations that emerged from the technical committee meeting, which included a number of senior technicians and experts, led by former national voter Sheikh Rabah Saadane. The committee was keen to present a road paper aimed at correcting the course and defining future frameworks for the “Al-Khader” battalion.
On the other hand, our sources revealed that foreign teams are closely following Petkovic’s future with the “Desert Warriors,” as football federations that recently participated in the World Cup are seeking to benefit from the services of the Swiss technician. There are two teams from the Asian continent and another African team in the circle of observers, and they are all waiting for the final decision on his position with Algerian football to officially move and transfer him to its technical leadership bench.
