The head of government, Xavier Espot, announced this morning, during the political orientation debatethe launch of a “broad and ambitious” aid program intended for a large part of the households that use more than 30% of their income to pay the rent.
As he explained spotthe measure it will not be limited to tenants affected by the termination of the extensions extraordinary lease contracts. It will also be addressed to people who signed the contract from 2022 and who were therefore not protected by this extension scheme.
The head of government has also announced that theexecutive will present, together with the commons, a program of aid and incentives to encourage public-private initiatives in housing, with the aim of increasing the offer available on the market.
