The Israeli escalation in southern Lebanon and its Bekaa continues today, with continued raids on several towns, coinciding with Hezbollah operations against the Israeli forces penetrating south.
For his part, he assured President Joseph Aoun that “we will not withdraw from the negotiations despite the pressure, and we will continue the path until reaching the end for the benefit of our homeland,” demanding “an end to the state of hostility with Israel according to the following points: Israeli withdrawal, stopping the attacks, the deployment of the Lebanese army, and the return of the displaced and prisoners.”
In addition, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: “We are striking Hezbollah forcefully, eliminating hundreds of saboteurs every week, and the confrontation with the party continues,” stressing that “we have several challenges, especially the drones launched by Hezbollah, and we are working to confront them.”
