THE Inepthe institute responsible for Enemthe deadline for requesting exemption from the registration fee for the 2026 exam opened this Monday (13). Requests can be made until April 24th.
Students enrolled in the 3rd year of high school in public schools are entitled to the benefit, as well as full scholarship holders from the private network with a per capita monthly family income of up to one and a half minimum wages (R$ 2,431.50).
Candidates registered with CadÚnico (single registration for federal government social programs) and participants in the nest egg program.
To place an order, interested parties must access the participant page, available on Inep website.
After logging in through Gov.br, the candidate must provide personal data, such as CPF, date of birth, email and contact telephone number. The result of the Enem 2026 fee exemption request will be announced on May 8th.
The value of the Enem 2026 registration fee has not yet been released by Inep. In 2025, the fee was R$85.
Participants who obtained an exemption in the previous edition, but missed the Enem 2025 tests, must justify their absence within the same period, from April 13th to 24th. Proof requires sending documents in accordance with Inep guidelines.
Despite the start of the exemption request process, the MEC (Ministry of Education) has not yet released the official calendar for the Enem 2026 exams.
In 2025, the national exam had 4.8 million confirmed registrations. With the Enem result, students can enter universities public, through Sisu (Unified Selection System), and private institutions from programs such as Prouni (Universities for All Program) and the Fies (Student Financing Fund).
