In this meeting, comprehensive discussions were held on the further development of tourism, cultural cooperation and historical relations between the two countries.
At the beginning of the visit, Mawlawi Qudratullah Jamal praised the historical, cultural, religious and political relations between Afghanistan and Turkey and thanked the Turkish government, embassy and especially the TİKA Institute for the cooperation in the cultural and educational fields of Afghanistan.
He said that the construction of the study hall of the public library, conducting training programs to increase the capacity of the staff of the National Archives, the reconstruction of the youth dormitory and the construction of the Khanqah of Maulana’s father Bahauddin Wold in Balkh; There are clear examples of good cooperation between the two countries.
The Minister of Tourism, Finance and Administration added that Afghanistan has vast potentials in terms of historical, cultural and religious tourism and expressed hope that during the mission of the Turkish Chargé d’affaires, tourism, cultural heritage protection and relations between the peoples of the two countries will be further strengthened.
The Turkish Chargé d’affaires also said that the shared historical, cultural, social and religious values between Afghanistan and Turkey form the basis of the closeness of the two nations and called culture the most important bridge between the two countries.
He called Turkey’s tourism industry one of the fastest growing economic sectors of the country and emphasized that his country is ready to share its experiences with Afghanistan in the fields of tourism, hotel management, tourist services and human capacity development.
He assured that the Ministry of Information and Culture of Afghanistan will coordinate with the relevant Turkish institutions to increase the professional capacity of the employees.
In addition, the two sides also discussed the important ways of joint cooperation for the development of tourism relations between Afghanistan and Turkey. It has been discussed.
Ayldiz explained that the only reliable source of official visa services of the Republic of Turkey is the Safa service company in Afghanistan, and Afghans can apply for a Turkish visa through this company.
At the end of the meeting, both sides emphasized that the development of cooperation in the field of tourism not only provides the basis for the economic growth of both countries; But it will also play an important role in cultural exchanges, public relations, the introduction of historical heritage and the strengthening of sustainable cooperation in the region.
